Network Members Lead Another Year in the Village
2018 was a tremendous year for the Vital Village Network! And none of this could have been accomplished without the passionate and fearless leadership of community leaders within the network. We invite you to read our latest blog to reflect back with us!

Celebrate Advocacy, Mentorship , and Leadership
On December 14, we came together to celebrate the year, reconnect with members, and honor true champions for change across the network at the Vital Village Network Holiday Party:
  • Unsung Hero of 2018 - Soraya Harley
  • Excellence in Mentoring Award - Jenny Weaver
  • Visionary Leadership in Child Advocacy Award - Jeri Robinson
Both adults and children enjoyed inter-generational games and activities over a community meal sponsored by Hayley House, and families were invited to enjoy the wonders of the Boston Children's Museum. We give a special thanks to the Vital Village Community Partnership (VVCP) and the Boston Children's Museum for co-hosting a fun, family-friendly, and relationship deepening gathering! Enjoy photos here.

Vital Village Network Connection Meetings are designed to promote shared learning and collaboration by creating a space that builds connections, trust, and collective responsibility for our  mission. In 2018, Network Connection Meetings were co-designed with network partners to maximize the diverse expertise and wisdom within the network.

At the end of each meeting, we distribute, collect, analyze, and publicly share attendee input from our Villager Feedback Forms on our Data Dashboard.

Connecting directly to our Theory of Change, we ask for feedback on practical application, social connections, different levels of engagement, and leadership as measures for improving community systems. See graphs here.
