Diverse Perspectives on an Ecology-Focused Approach to Group Well Child Care with Dr. Ishaan Shah

Group well child visits provide a dynamic environment for preventative health counseling which may allow topical discussions that are important to parents, children, and clinicians alike. What would an ecology-focused approach to this unique intervention look like and what does that mean? This presentation dives into parent and clinician's perspective on what ecology and the environment means for  pediatric medical care and what kind of topics parents and clinicians would be interested in diving into.

About our speaker: Ishaan Shah is a 1st year Family Medicine Resident at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY. He completed medical school at Mayo Clinic Alex School of Medicine. He worked as a research assistant for the CK-READY clinical trial of group well child care. He is interested in group medical visits, primary care, and social determinants of health.
