2016 National Community Innovation Convening
2016 National Community Innovation Convening

In May 2016 NOW National Community Innovation Convening assembled over 70 experts in early childhood and community stakeholders to develop a theory of action to integrate systems of health, education, and care to optimize child wellbeing.

The primary aim of the NOW National Community Innovation Convening was to bring together a diverse group of early childhood practitioners, researchers and community residents to develop a theory of action and framework that addresses the impact of childhood adversities on childhood obesity and map a way forward.

A three part video series was developed based on interviews conducted with nearly a third of participants during the convening.
