Village Healing Circles

The Village Healing Circle A Healing Space for Black Men in Greater Boston

The Village Healing Circle is a ten-week healing space created by and for Black men in Greater Boston. Each week, participants gather in circle to speak honestly, be witnessed fully, and heal together. Through circle, Black men explore identity, process grief and anger, repair relationships, and reclaim their power, grounded in African and African American healing traditions and the belief that the health of our community begins with the health of the men within it.

At the heart of the Village Healing Circle are fifteen trained Black male community ambassadors from Greater Boston who bring their own lived experience, cultural wisdom, and deep commitment to the healing and wholeness of Black men and boys. Each ambassador has completed training in restorative circle keeping and is dedicated to holding a space where Black men can show up fully and be seen.
